Co-Founder and Executive Chair of Aegros, Professor Hari Nair, was pleased to attend a private evening function at Kirribilli House on Friday 30 September, where he met with Prime Minister the Hon Anthony Albanese, for a social evening and to discuss with him the essential role Aegros can play in Australia’s health infrastructure.

The exclusive evening function was part of the charity activities included in the annual Mid-Winter Ball, which has raised more than $4million since its inception.

The private function with the Prime Minister was an auction item at 2019’s Mid-Winter Ball but the event could not be held earlier due to covid-19. Prime Minister Albanese was pleased to host a select guest list of attendees for the function.

While the highlight of the evening was meeting with Prime Minister Albanese, a close second was the opportunity to meet with the First Dog, Toto, all in the pleasant surrounds of Kirribilli House, located on the Sydney Harbour foreshore.

At the relaxed event, Prof Nair was able to discuss the need for greater yields in medicines made from blood plasma and how the HaemaFrac® can address this, as well as the importance of hyperimmunes in fighting pandemics and pandemic preparedness generally.

Aegros and Prof Nair enjoyed sharing this event with the Prime Minister and thanks him for his interest in our capabilities.

Aegros looks forward to discussing further our capabilities and the benefits we can offer, with all levels of government.
