Aegros Co-founders Prof Hari Nair and John Manusu were pleased to lead a contingent of Aegros senior managers, to attend the Queensland Investment Showcase, held October 7.
The Showcase presented Aegros with a great opportunity to discuss matters with Queensland decision makers, such as the global shortage of plasma, how yield improvement is the only way to increase the availability of plasma medicines, and how the Aegros HaemaFrac® can help with this challenge, all while producing annual savings to the health budget.
Speakers at the Showcase included the Hon Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland, the Hon Cameron Dick MP, Treasurer of Queensland and Minister for Trade and Investment, as well as a host of business leaders; including energy suppliers, defence contractors, telecommunication providers, high tech manufacturers, and a host of investment specialists.
With the Showcase’s focus on growing Queensland’s export potential, building greater connections between industries and the state’s universities and research producing bodies, and highlighting the keen global interest in Queensland as a global investment destination, there was a lot of interesting information for Aegros to absorb. There was also a lot of interest in Aegros.

Aegros enjoyed our sojourn to the Sunshine state and look forward to further opportunities to discuss the HaemaFrac® and Aegros’ potential with Queensland stakeholders.
