Israel Ministry of Economy & Industry Awards Aegros 10.4m NIS grant

Sydney, Australia 1st December 2018 – The Board of Aegros is delighted to advise that the Ministry of Economy & Industry of Israel has awarded Aegros up to 10.4m NIS (US$3m) investment grant. This grant covers 20% of the capital Aegros will invest up to 52m NIS. This was a competitive grant and Aegros was one of the few companies to be given this grant in the current round.
Aegros was awarded this grant to purchase equipment for the fractionation facility it is acquiring in Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem. Aegros is grateful to the Israeli government for its confidence in the introduction of a full fractionation plant in Jerusalem with its patented CyMES technology.
Aegros is acquiring this fractionation facility in Har Hotzvim in order to establish its first CyMES fractionation facility to manufacture Albumin and IVIG.
This facility was previously owned by Omrix, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. This facility was constructed by BioPharmax in 2012 for an estimated cost of US$60m.
